Meet Metasebia Mammo
- Founder Of ACT
Mrs Metasebia Mammo is the manager and cofounder of Acumen consulting and training service PLC. She is one of the selected few social entrepreneurs who won the competition organized by the Reach for Change organization on proven solutions that make positive change in the lives children, youth and women in Addis Ababa. Metasebia obtained her Undergraduate qualification in Psychology from Addis Ababa University and her Postgraduate degree in Sociology from Indira Gandhi National University. She is also the founder of BEST daycare, a sister organization of Acumen consulting and training service PLC, which is based on Montessori approach of children’s teaching.
She is one of the handful of professionals who have received training by Partnership for Change organization in collaboration with Women’s Health Association of Ethiopia on Montessori Pedagogy teaching. Now, she is one of the lead trainers in daycare assistance training. Metasebia is also the author of a best-selling parenting book and a mother of three girls.

Our Mission

We address both the paying and non-paying customers. In our increasingly complex society, parents have more challenges than ever. Therefore, family support must shift dramatically to adequately address these profound changes.
We deliver one to one and group consultation.We work with both parents and Child/ren and our work includes:
- enabling parents to be more effective in their parenting
- Specifically supporting parents’ relationship and management of their child
- Enhancing parents’ confidence to communicate with their child
- Equip parents to manage behavioural change of childrenmore effectively
- Improving parent-child interactions and many more.

- We also have a book on parenting written by the founder, which is entitled “በአሁን ጊዜ ልጆችን አሳድጎ ለፍሬ ማብቃት”.
